Has everyone suddenly been overtaken by an overwhelming urge to redecorate? It certainly feels that way. “For a typical Toronto lifestyle, there’s so much hustle and rushing around that we often neglect our personal spaces,” says Rachelle LeBlanc, the founder of design agency Company Company. LeBlanc, who just completed the interior of the Grape Witches natural wine shop on Dundas West, has noticed this new enthusiasm for decor now that we are all stuck inside. “I spend 90 per cent of my time at the hardware store,” says LeBlanc, “and I’ve seen so many people there for the first time, venturing into painting. I’m seeing more willingness to be a little more adventurous with home decor choices.”
