      What is that property worth?

      2010 BC Property Tax Assessments began arriving in the mail today for all property owners. For those that are not familiar with what these are, this is the value that the BC Provincial Government estimates is the value of a particular property. All levels of governments then use these valuations for taxation purposes. A few things

      Stated Income Vs. Equity: What is the difference?

      I had the pleasure of training a few new Mortgage Planners yesterday in our office. One of the most interesting topics that was discussed was “Isn’t equity and stated income financing the same?” The answer is “NO”. Let me explain. Many institutional lenders (banks, credit unions, etc.) and all three mortgage insurers (CMHC, Genworth & AIG )
